BlueThroughandThrough Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Hello, Been a supporter since I was 12, typical story of went to the games with my stepdad in the Filbert St era, saw Clank score the screamer, went to watch Walshy throw a boot at a supporter in an effort to impress someone's wife at some place called Wembley, had to buy the Sunday Sport solely so I could find out the results when I lived in Scotland for a bit... no, honest! Anyhoo, I coming (in my pants, Sunday Sport memories) to Leicester on Saturday afternoon so I can join the party in the city centre with a couple of mates but does anyone have any recommendations please? Good place to park? Good bar to watch the game? Thank you in advance
wardyfox86 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 It really depends on what time you arrive. Parking at High Cross isn't cheap, but it's about 10 minutes walk to the ground. There's NCP car parks near the Tigers ground, but again they are anything but cheap. I always just park in the '£5 match day parking' areas for games, but obviously this is exceptional circumstances.

Finno Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 It's gonna be mad. A brilliant day. But, I'd suggest little chance of parking Saturday, unless you get there mega early. Park n ride ? Or park down Aylestone road, and hop on a bus ? Or get someone to drop you off, and stagger all the way home. I'll be doing the latter !

Rincewind Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 No idea what I am doing. I normally go to the Kings on New Walk for the games but it may be busy. If I go in early I will have enough enough by the time the game starts and if I go in later I will struggle to find a seat to watch the game. One good thing. No Tigers fans or rugby on tv. i think early.
