Thracian Posted 20 September 2005 Posted 20 September 2005 Were there such a place as Heaven or Paradise what would you wish it to be like? Would you wish for earthly concepts that you like and are familiar with or would you opt for something totally alien - an eperience totally different from anything you've previously known. The subject came up because my wife, not far off a life-threatening operation - has been having the wierdest dreams about trying to find her way through a dense fog and suchlike, feelings of complete disorientation, presumably as her subconscious tries to deal with the difficulties ahead. Asked what she would want to find in Heaven she described a gym where you feel no pain from the exercise, wonderful countryside and picnic spots beside gently rippling streams but a minute or two later confessed "Oh yes and the best Morrisons in the Universe". Now there's a challenge for the Chief Executive - one-stop stores in Paradise! What are your concepts?

Benji Posted 20 September 2005 Posted 20 September 2005 great song! for me it would involve total relaxation, being able to enjoy the simple things in life and still play sports as it is what i love. I would still keep myself mentally challenged i couldn't jsut give up and sloutch i'd find that boring, but would prefer to have more time to do as i want. Oh and be surrounded by about 10 gorgeous women of different nationalities.
kerryh Posted 20 September 2005 Posted 20 September 2005 Somewhere that I'm happy and have no worries would be nice.
The People's Hero Posted 21 September 2005 Posted 21 September 2005 Somewhere where I don't spend all my life at work or arguing with people.
Head Honcho Posted 21 September 2005 Posted 21 September 2005 Heaven would be retiring at 42 on a 100k a year pension..No worries Good luck with the op by the way.
Hullfox Posted 21 September 2005 Posted 21 September 2005 A place that is trouble free where I can spend eternity with all the people I have ever loved. Problem with that Babylon is that all the people I've ever loved wouldn't get on.

Ricey Posted 22 September 2005 Posted 22 September 2005 I think heaven will be a place where you can peacefully watch over your loved ones or spend time with them if they have passed away. Heaven can be anything you want to be.
