Kendal Fox Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 With regard to Lineker - When people say "he's a knob" or "It's common knowledge he's a knob", what do they mean exactly?Do they mean he's dismissive? Unfriendly? Nerdy?Just seems a bit simplistic and vague. Also, what "skeletons in the closet" was Barton on about? Could be anything..

Don't know about others but heard from "sources inside bbc" that he is a bit of a sleaze with women.. probably not unusual for ex-footballers or tv celebs. Look at Andy Gray/Richard Keys for example.

Look at Andy Gray/Richard Keys for example. Ah, I see. Still, find it hard to see him being as cringefully sleazy as Gray and Keys mind. But the way people say "he's a knob", I'm assuming the inference is that he is not a nice person. Can't think what else they mean, unless they are just parroting rumours because that's what a lot of people like to believe, rather than something good.
midland_red Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 I though it was a moving and passionate report. I actually admire Lineker for being a working-class Leicester lad who never lost his roots
AmyLGK Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 I'm off work sick, have just watched this documentary again, now watching the celebrations at the Everton game I recorded - still feels like a dream
jbloggs Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Any links to the documentary for people abroad? Kendal Fox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 A good documentary, but I would have liked a little segment on Wes.
