King Power have lauched a TV reality show to attract the talents of Thailand's youngsters with the winner receiving a two year scholarship at the City academy. Way to go Leicester ... On the map with a huge fan base and hopefully finding some more raw talent to bring on.

Great news, I'm changing my name to Costai Foxaprabanaba to see if I get a place.

I'm sure there was a reality show a few years ago where the winner was awarded a scholarship with Chelsea, can't remember the name of it though.

If I remember, the 2nd series winner Carl Magnay, plays for Hartlepool.

Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere - Perhaps in a Vardy thread but apparently Vardy's getting his own programme aswell.

Stop everything! Leicester City's Jamie Vardy is getting his own reality TV show

The immortal words of "Jamie Vardy's having a party" have been etched into our brains since the Leicester City striker led his team to unlikely Premier League victory.

So it comes as no surprise that the Foxes frontman has now bagged himself a reality TV show. And to help non-league footballers, no less.

The TV show, called Jamie Vardy's Having an Academy, will follow the England footballer as he tries to discover non-league talent and promote them to play at professional level.

The V9 Academy will hold its first intake of players in May 2017 at Manchester City FC's training complex. The academy will host 42 successful applicants who will be split into 3 teams of 14 players for a 5-day residential programme.

The series will not only provide insight into Jamie's time in non-league football but follow the stories of the hopefuls in the build-up to their time in the V9 Academy as well.

Scouts from professional clubs will also be running the rule over the players and for those successful students who secure a professional contract, Key Sports Management - one of the UK's leading football management companies and co-founders of the V9 Academy - will broker a deal.

Talking about the new show, Vardy said: "I'm looking forward to working with the Zig Zag Productions team on the documentary about the V9 Academy.

"I hope the series encourages would-be footballers to give it another go and keep on fighting like I did."

It comes after the news that there might be a movie in the works about the Leicester City striker's rise from non-league football to Premier League success.
