Would you want super owners?

Talk in the papers today of an 800 million takeover of Liverpool from Chinese investors (supposedly more money than man city owners)

Would you welcome this kind of investment at Leicester, where we could just go out and buy pretty much any player in the world? Or would you prefer to Continue spending fairly sensibly (for this league) but will probably never be in the top 4 again.

No, they're clowns.

Why trade in a a Range rover for an f1 car. Yes the F1 car is flash, but you can't use it on the road, one scratch and its bust. Meanwhile the range rover is a top top car and works in all situations without breaking down.

Anyone remember Portsmouth or Notts county with their billionaires. Thaksin anyone?

No.

When they get bored and leave these clubs are crippled. In fact, there's only Arsenal that have a healthy balance.

You could say the same about us. Paying 100k a week to vardy, Mahrez and probably Schmeichel. What if we get relegated and the owners have enough?

I know, totally agree.

I just mentioned Arsenal because the discussion was happening on the way home from the game yesterday on 5 live... It's so strange how a couple of people can walk away and it all goes wrong.

I'm not suggesting that I would want new owners, but it is possible to strike lucky (man city). I understand our owners are billionaires, but with all these Chinese investors interested in teams suddenly, i reckon we could be subject to interest in a few years if the owners get fed up. They aren't going to be here forever.
