Louise Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 Dublin, de Vries and Sylla are apparently all struggling with injury for tomorrow. It's all good news to me. I would love it if none of those players played.

I would love it if none of those players played. I dont agree for the simple reason that Levein thinks of them as his first choice players and it's just gonna mean more chopping and changing,we need a bit of stability.

Durnerz Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 This could be the start of good things, No more Hoof with playing Dublin centre back and forcing Johansson to the left, more productivity from the right with I'd imagine Hughes there and Williams coming into the centre, Options of through balls ON THE FLOOR to Hammond and Hume up front, ooooh i'm drooling.....
Ric Flair Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 This would be excellent news. The only problem is that Hughes will be shoved on the wing again, but that's a small proce to pay if it means Hume and Elvis can play upfront together and perhaps Gerrbrand or Sheehan will come back in to the starting line-up.
Jimmy Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 gerrbrand will be back in the team as early as posible, he was injured at the start of the season then got injured in his 1st match back if he's fit levein may drop paddy after his shaky performance on saturday
supedaj Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 not a bad prospect. We may see Hume and Hammond up front. If Sylla was not out we'd have a good balance IMO. Although we do need to drop Kisnorbo and move Hughes into a more central role.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 I like Sylla I think if we stick him out on the right wing he is pretty good. I do like Dion but I'd prefer he sat it out on the bench. If we need something different upfront or at back he can offer us that then obviously thats always a bonus. I'd prefer to see Hume and Hammond upfront together for the first time so if De Vries is out I'll be happy as Larry.

Me 2!!!
cisono Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 A good chance for the other players to shine, although I think Dion has been doing a good stabilising job lately.
Solihullfox Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 I feel positive waves coming through for tomorrow.
Scow Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 It's time that we played with some genuine pace upfront. We might actually scare the opposition...
lookwhaticando Posted 26 September 2005 Posted 26 September 2005 It's time that we played with some genuine pace upfront. We might actually scare the opposition... Are you suggesting we play Jase up front? Interesting if Hume/Hammond play up front.
