I just can't get on board with Schlupp at the minute. He offered absolutely nothing on Saturday. Defensively lazy on a number of occasions, attacking wise, completely unambitious. Someone nailed it with Schlupp when they said he brings "the chaos factor" which is that you haven't got a clue what's coming next from him. Where was that at the weekend? It's unpolished and it's typical of us, but it can be really effective. For all his end product is hit and miss, if he keeps having a go he does generally get there. The amount of times he got the ball and just stood there was incredible, even more so when you consider who he's keeping out.

Musa was pretty shocking at the weekend but you couldn't accuse him of not having a go at them. He at least did make a few runs.

Not having a go at anybody here...!!!  Just an open comment and statement of fact....

Since the 1970s at Leicester and through profi football, we see players being labelled has wingers, many starting

their careers as wingers. On this forum many keeping up a theme about us having many/only wingers.

This player should not be in this or that position....Where have you all been the last 40yrs...

Profi football, has been using the    " old style wingers"  in various positions in the front 5-6.

Our own history showing  Weller, Glover, plus many more, a heap of pacey players, sometimes has WBacks, some through the middle,

some mixing it, through a game or parts of the season. Some up front off the main striker.

This forum does seem obsessed, in naming our pace players as wingers only...Kapu, is not for example just a winger,

even at his tender age, he has  played as a 2nd striker, moving through the middle.

I expect Ranieri, will also characterise our pacey players, playing in various rolls, and not just has out n out wingers.

European teams dont play with out n out wingers....

I struggle to see why Gray isn't getting more opportunities. I think when Kingy came on on Saturday, Claudio was perhaps saving Gray for Tuesday?

Re Kaputska, I get the hype, he appears to be an exciting young player. But maybe tactically he's not ready yet. That said, Schlupp was ****ing abysmal on Saturday - I'd be surprised if Schlupp knew how to spell tactics let alone understand them. Like others have said - I'd love for him to be successful, but I don't think he's going to be.

i think he's sheet because he was disappointed not getting the green light with his 12Mil quid move to WBA?

After the Barcelona game, the bandwagon chant was pro-Schlupp. Today, the bandwagon chant is suddenly anti-Schlupp.

Can a player lose his skills in such a short time? :schlupp:

Schlupp isn't skilled, it's widely acknowledged on here that he's a limited footballer who makes the most of his main asset (which is his pace by a considerable distance) which is why he's actually quite well thought of in the most part, or at least has been. He needs to start having a go at people again because he's abysmal when he overthinks.

schlupp will probs play vs palace and have a blinder.

so frustrating.

Most Likely, however we need someone consistent who can fill in for the main picks of Mahrez and Albrighton. I would understand if we were storming the league, but the focus seems to be on the Champions League. We definitely need to think about squad rotation else the players will be FUBAR'd by the end of the season.

Playing Gray and Mahrez on the wings along with two strikers in suicide away from home but it may well be worth a go at home.

We played the aforementioned duo at Hull and we looked so disjointed it was beyond belief. OK it was only one game but Gray doesnt defend and when we play like we do and keep giving the ball away by risking freeing up our strikers with long balls or Kaspers hoofs, Also it would put too much pressure on the central midfield duo who are getting overrun.
