Crying about this Transfer Window

On paper our window isn't the worst. We signed one of the most promising central midfielders in Europe super early into the window to fill an obvious gap in the side.

 

However, we can all see that our team is just not performing and relegation is a real possibility. We've done nothing to address other obvious problems in the squad when there have been solutions available. Time will tell if it's the right decision but if we end up going down because of a leaky defence having passed up on Jose Fonte as an example, there will be a lot of regrets at the club.

My concern is how we have gone 2 transfer windows now with what seems to be a club target publicly announcing their desire to leave a club and us failing to do anything about it. *ramirez seems like it's over. 

 

Im sure Ulloa will leave today and that's with him in the same position as some of our targets.

Well we've shipped 62 goals this season already, and so far sold a RB/CB cover and bringing in an unknown quantity again. Frustration will indeed be high. 

 

It looks almost as if our defence are even more secure with their starting positions, other than Fuchs who actually has someone Ranieri rates as competition. 

 

Add the fact we're lacking players that can create something, then yeah it's a mess. Okazaki can't keep on playing as a number 10 unless last season's magic comes back, but it won't because everything seems rotten.

Appreciate your points but we don't know the ins and outs we might have enquired about Fonte and he had no interest because he won't have to move house and relocate family to sign for West Ham etc.

 

I'm not saying we have had a great transfer window or that we do not need a new right back and center back but I am saying that completely over reacting to what has been an ok window for January is not helping anyone.
