There's no way anybody should be rated lower than Musa.... He was so poor.

I appreciate he wasn't always helped with long balls here and there but he has zero brain and barely controls the ball.

 

Im still hopeful he'll improve but liability currently.

When I saw the team I thought he was playing with fire. If they played badly and lost that would be just about the end.

The players did look a bit disjointed at times, particularly in the first half, however they did get better throughout the match.

Top marks for Ranieri who showed a lot of courage to make so many changes.

Be very interesting to see what sort of team he puts out for Swansea.

 

I'm not so sure it was courage. I'd hazard a guess that he had a chat with the owners as to the importance of this fixture, and of the cup as a whole. He wouldn't have picked that team otherwise.

Zieler 6

Didn't have much to do, goal wasn't necessarily his fault. Not comfortable with him punching when he could easily catch.

 

Amartey 7

Improved my rating for him after it emerged he only arrived back from Africa 5.30 yesterday morning - to play for 120 mins was brilliant. He could be very useful in many roles.

 

Was 6

Pretty solid in defence, seemed as quick as Huth and Morgan despite being 5 years older.

 

Benny 7

Baffled as to why he's not been in the squad. Thought he was more than good enough and could actually pass. How queer.

 

Chilly 8

Future England FB without a doubt. Looks great going forward too. 

 

Albrighton 7

Quick thinking for King's goal, usual hardworking performance we've come to expect. 

 

Mendy 6

Seemed a bit anonymous. 

 

Kingy 7

Got the ball and scored the goal. What else does he have to do?

 

Gray 9 - MOTM

Needs to be starting now. He was outstanding the whole match. Great individual goal, great cross for Albrighton to head for King.

Need to see more of him.

 

Musa 6

Would have scored were in not for Marshall's arm.

Lively, great pass to Ndidi for his goal. Hope we can find him a way to get him back to his very best.

Should have buried that chance from Gray.

Came on an immediately made an impact. What a strike. Love the way he wins the ball back too. He will turn out to be a brilliant signing.

Not Musas biggest fan, but that's harsh. He was close to scoring, nearly set up Gray with a nice reverse pass, linked up well when balls weren't hoofed forwards and unlucky not to provoke a red for their keeper. More influential than Vardy has been in recent weeks.
