Wymsey Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 9th is still realistic now the team has some momentum, providing of course this short-term confident run of results this week carries on, as the team's between us and Stoke themselves are quite inconsistent and can't tell what they're going to do next. Now they're away from the bottom 3 dotted line, the team should be in confident and hungry mood for the Sevilla game. Deserve a good rest after the turbulent week or so.
UPinCarolina Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 If we managed to finish in a single digit place, I will be stunned. Too many things have to swing our way. That said, stranger things have occurred...
Crinklyfox Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 Far too early to guess. We now have a successful formula for winning but it's fragile. Injuries to key players would force a change which could be less successful. We couldn't expect to be able to terrorise defences through sheer pace without Vardy, we don't have another forward that puts in the effort like Okazaki, if either Ndidi or Drinkwater were absent we'd struggle to be so effective at winning the ball back in midfield. If we can keep everyone healthy I can see us getting 38 - 41 points, but if we lost a couple of players then I'll be biting my fingernails and watching the other results.
