psychonaut Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 I think we'll be lucky to reach 30 points. On current form we'll finish bottom. Perfect symmetry.
foxfan92 Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 I am totally deflated by the performances and the lack of any desire by players who won the league just last season. What I'm desperately hoping for is that now relegation is so close the players collectively find an extra gear or two and start playing like games matter. If they don't we are in big trouble because the teams around us seem to be genuinely fighting for their survival while we seem to have accepted our fate.
Fox92 Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 After the Sunderland defeat I ranted on here about relegation and certain posters told me "home form will keep us up". I don't believe it will. I cannot see us winning another game. We are so bad and we haven't been this bad in many many years. Spurs will end up sending us down, at home, which will conclude our embarrassment of a season.
jmono84 Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 I've said for several weeks too this the the worst team since we got relegated to lge 1! Someone please find some kind of solution!! I can't believe CR hasn't gone, there has been nothing at all to suggest things will change... just can't wait for this season to be over, even tho we're still in champs league

On paper, we've got one of the best teams in ages. And the most expensive LCFC squad ever assembled. If at all, blame the lack of motivation, application and effort on the pitch! Our current squad would likely win a prize in the "Worst team spirit" category, if there ever was such.

Football isn't played on paper. These expensive players are not good enough. I think I've got a better first touch than Musa, a player we paid £17mill for, and that's before getting onto Mendy and his inability to pass the ball further than 10 yards. We haven't been this bad in a long long time, as a group, jmono is probably correct. The lack of effort, desire and motivation individually is appalling but these players just don't have the quality. But as with everything in life, the cream always rises which shows. We are miles off Spurs now. I'm actually scared it will be them who send us down and I have no doubts Kane will bag a hat trick against us. Our so called "title defence" has been absolutely embarrassing.

At least we could defend back then. I think you have to go back further to find a time when we were this bad. No idea when that was, but it must have been a very long time.
AyewJoking Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 we'll be lucky to win a single game. #Granieri really is batshít crazy if he believes we can turn this around.
filthyfox Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 31 points ... and finish 17th (the dream any real Foxes fan holds dear)
FoxFossil Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 Stats: 33 points guarantees relegation 37 points and its then a 50/50 chance 41 points nearly 100% certain to stay up (not 40 points Claudio) even thats not certain but only West Ham have been relegated on 42 points. Every point above 37 is therefore super critical, so it being Leicester, my guess is 37 just to put us through the wringer until the last kick of the season, and then we go down.

I just cannot see where a single point will come from, we are just that bad. Maybe we will somehow scrape a draw or god forbid a win if another bitch team like us has a really really bad day...
Long Eaton Fox Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 As it happens we are not in the bottom 3. Please do not be so negative. Help the team, support them, push them to escape the drop. Be the 12TH MAN
Guest the fox Posted 21 February 2017 Posted 21 February 2017 5 wins.3 draws and 4 defeats. 39 points should be enough to stay up
stuw Posted 21 February 2017 Posted 21 February 2017 Think the goals will eventually come - but im more concerned with our back 4 Ranieri seems as if hes going to stick with these clowns regardless of the school kid defending - I know there is little in the way of options but surely he needs to try something anything - not confident he will - its just so frustrating to see bloody Morgan and co trot out when you know the stupid idiotic defending will let in a goal at first chance to opposition and the man looks so smug in the tunnel - worse capt in the league . Anyway i think goals will eventually come but with our apparent inability to defend with our awesome 4some we will always let in more than we score so i cant see another win unless he dumps Morgan and Huth in particular.
sylofox Posted 21 February 2017 Posted 21 February 2017 Going down won't seem so bad after a Cardiff win in may. What a fixture list next season. Strap ya selves in lads. Saturday Tuesday Thursday Saturday every week till Xmas.

Can't really say that we are the same now! In a perverse sort of way the title win was the worst thing to ever happen to this squad. If we'd finished a 'disappointing' 2nd last season then we'd probably be having a far superior season this time round but.................!

Even if that happens we still ****ing mugged them off and won the league after all their bravado. It's still much more embarrassing to be Spurs regardless of what happens to us this year, by them or otherwise.
Benguin Posted 21 February 2017 Posted 21 February 2017 21-40 If we sort are act out we could easily stay up but if I am to base it on what's going on at the minute I think we might get 2 or 3 draws and finish on 24 points
mad biker Posted 21 February 2017 Posted 21 February 2017 We will win the league of 7 that we are in and finish 14th.
