Guest TheBear Posted 6 March 2017 Posted 6 March 2017 I was wondering why sky seem intent on ruining atmosphere on their live games by turning down crowd microphones. Take tonight West Ham Chelsea songs constantly being sung and seemingly loud but the mics constantly get turned down souring the viewing experience... Anyone know why they do it? Bad language and offensive chanting or just a desire to dilute our viewing?
Collymore Posted 6 March 2017 Posted 6 March 2017 If you want atmosphere, go to the game. I quite happily just watch the football on TV muted. The commentators and co-commentators talk absolute shite most of the time.

They actually like to ramp up the crowd noise, they stick the mic in front of the fans of your Uniteds, Liverpools and Man Citys and turn it up to make them sound nice and loud. Second they start singing a chant with swear words suddenly it gets very quiet. If you only ever watched Sky Sports, you'd think Liverpool have amazing support. Watch them play a few times home and away, you realise they're probably one of the worst two or three in the Prem.
