Scow Posted 6 October 2005 Posted 6 October 2005 Can anyone recommend some decent places to eat in Leicester at lunchtime? The likes of Subway and Greggs are always too crowded, so just wondering if anyone has any alternative suggestions they could advise me of?

Dunc Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Browns Deli on St Martins is good and there is a great sandwich shop on Kings Road (by the Council Buildings) which is top. The Pie Company on Market Place is quality for an unhealthy treat, Jack's Spuds are good too. There are loads of places down Market Street too.

Only 1 hour? How long do you expect for lunch? It's bit of journey to go in to centre of town and back, so I'd like more. Seriously, it's quite generous actually - My previous employer would only give me 30 minutes for working an 8 hour shift.
