Liverpool ticket problem

I bought a ticket and I was told it would automatically go on to my season ticket, but when I got to the turnstiles I was told it was paper tickets only which meant I would have missed the game if I didn't luckily bump into someone selling a ticket. I was just wondering if anyone else encountered this?

No, i was told all extra game tickets will be paper ones as the new system cant handle getting them onto your card, also it get people going into the store and maybe getting extra sales on goods

Not sure if the above post is correct, but the load to card option is not online this season, so all cup ties are paper ticket, no idea who told you it was loaded to card, but that is not the correct information, i'd take it up with the club.

So you ended up buying two tickets to the game? 

 

I requested it to be put on my season card but a paper ticket turned up in the post for the game

My paper ticket didn't work so they just let me through the gates. Same thing happened for a couple others as well. Don't see how it's so hard to load onto season card

when bought online, it says paper ticket post/collect or print at home, no longer an option to have it loaded onto season ticket card. so it should have been delivered, on an email, or at the ground waiting for you.

So it was an option but only for a limited time, odd.

 

Just checked back and I didn't order until the 7th so I guess that's why it wasn't an option.

Season Tickets cant handle data being added on for some reason. We are all getting new ST next Season so I am told.
