Was it called Leicester sports?I can picture it now,big windows and you went up a sort of entrance with windows on both sides,sold everything including toys.Got my first city kit from there on fa cup final day 1978!

Not Gerry Francis but you are on the right sort of track in terms of the club that the bearded fellow managed not so long ago in the Premier League

Spot on! Before playing for Coventry, Joel was at West Brom. He had a reputation for being a tough tackling, no nonsense type of midfielder.

I think it was,was a really good shop for a 10 year old in the 70's.Had an olden days feel to it.Getting things from old wooden draws.Iremember going in there for snooker chalk,darts and bought the Soreline city shirt from there!
