The unpredictability is what its ALL about... the 5000/1 was more just a reference to the unpredictable (but, I can guarantee that unpredictable ref decisions played a part in our league WIN)

They'll still be plenty of unpredictability with VAR you only have to watch the TV pundits disagreeing every week on decisions where there is a multitude of TV angles, that will still happen. The video ref will be consider to have got it wrong still in many cases.

 

Many decisions are purely down to opinion and interpretation that will still exist except for the most obvious stuff.

Agreed, there’s still plenty of human error in the game as innocuous wrong decisions like a free kick given the other way still exist. Kompany would have been off against us with VAR - surely that’s better than retaining “part of the game” that will continue to exist anyway but we now have fewer wrong decisions impacting games?
