I don't think it's quite that simple. We're actively trying to sell some forwards so we're in no position to play hardball and the buying team will know it.

 

If another club aggressively pursues one of our players that we don't want to sell then we can get silly money. So if someone wants the likes of Schmeichel, Maguire, Ndidi, Gray, etc then they'll be paying through the nose but they won't for Slimani, Iheanacho or Ulloa, etc..
