do we need another midfielder in the bext window?

the best business is keeping mahrez, simple as! 20 of our 23 points came when he contributed to a goal. that should be telling.

another RB will be helpful but other than that, i'm happy

I am almost certain that we will get another winger even if Mahrez stays. Another RB too.

We look light over the Christmas period in the midfield areas.

Ndidi and Iborra we can't really afford to rest.

Mahrez, Gray and Albrighton usually take the three "attacking midfield" spots and we only have Okazaki and Chilwell to supplement them.

It will be telling if Musa still can't get a game or even on the bench in this period when we're so light in wide midfielders. No need to panic buy in January though as we have a much lighter load from then on onwards and we have Silva coming and Harvey Barnes will probably be brought into the first team squad for next season.

I think we do look at the options if Iborra or ndidi were out. King - useless, james - will he ever come back?,  chodury - good prospect but is he ready for the step up. Silva - how good is he just our luck hell get injured in his first game. Armatey - not a cm better cover as a rb. Puel would want better options on the bench and to give ndidi a break - hes played ever game so far and will upto xmas, that's a strong workload for a young player.

Sounds like we will be signing Brian Badonde in the bext bindow. We need some support for Bahrez, if he goes off the boil we have no creativity = were bucked.

I was with you right to this point then its like well it just has to be bollox.

Who would admit to being Ruskin's friend?

Very true lol

I was also told on a Stadium tour yesterday that Riyad Mahrez has just purchased executive box No:15, does this indicate he's not looking to leave anymore?

Very few clubs will ever say that they dont have an area  that cant be improved upon  but to say that we NEED another midfielder would be an overstatement. I think midfield is the least of our concerns, once Silva is back...

I would like us to sign Ben Arfa. The bloke can be absolutely brilliant.

Would be a great backup or cover for Riyad.

We'll get Ben Arfer  and I reckon he'll go for a Southampton full back, maybe Bertrand? Or Van Dijk (I know hes more CB, but he has praised him heavily recently in an interview)

I heard he purchased the box so he can invite scouts from other clubs to come watch him.

They turned down £65m from Liverpool for Van Dijk.

Chances of him coming here are zero.

Granted he hasn’t been used yet, but I think King would do a job in our new system if needs be. He’s not a powerhouse like N’Didi, but he’s a tidy player who can pass well enough and keep possession. He wasn’t outstanding in a system where we soaked up pressure and hit teams on the counter but if he was called upon now, I think he would do okay.

We could improve on him, but he’s not useless.

Tour guide advised he'd just purchased it very recently, whether its his 2nd or not he didn't say but his name wasn't on the list of current owners?

I'm sorry but he offers nothing look when he came on at stoke. Would you really be confident if ndidi / Iborra were out till the new year and we were forced to play him? I just think you can get a better option off the bench in january.

id love him but hes go top 4 written all over him and 65 million.

Plus .. a prime bobby moore couldn't get in ahead of Wes Morgan so what chance has VVD got?

We'll have Iborra, Ndidi, King, Silva and Choudrey. it depends on whether he'll play two or three in central midfield! and players might need a rest but the main pairing will be Iborra and Ndidi and obviously see how Silva does. they are our main three. it's always nice to have backup though in case of injuries or suspensions. there's always Amartey in an emergency lol

If that's true it's the sign of a very good manager who is content with what he has and will keep his tinder dry for the summer.

I remember the chairman over Peter Taylor (the worst manager we've ever had by some distance) said he always wanted the money to buy that one extra player despite wasting millions on dross. He said some managers will just spend everything you give them.

We have a very good first XI and a big squad so the only players we should be buying in January are those Puel really wants or not at all. No more buying multi million Pound players who can't get a game.

Frank McLintock close if not worse than Taylor
