Phil Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 he'll definateley go to hell if god exists Jesus will go to hell?
Hitesh Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 Jesus will go to hell? no...the guy holding the sign!
cisono Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 Jesus will go to hell? I don't want to go into philosophical arguments, but I am reliably informed that hell means "(being) without God" so, by definition, the answer to your question is "no, that's not possible". (If only yours had actually been a question... )
cisono Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 It was being ignored for a reason I know. I ignored it too... the first three times, could not hold back any longer though!!!

Katy Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 A thread has indeed started . Don't see any of those terms you mention anywhere yet... but that might still come!!! I was refering to you being tempted to post in the thread
cisono Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 I was refering to you being tempted to post in the thread hmm perhaps, but then that would imply that posting is a sin? [too much thinking for a Friday night ]
Katy Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 hmm perhaps, but then that would imply that posting is a sin? [too much thinking for a Friday night ] No just this one where you originally resisted and then gave in hence it being a sin
Steven Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 I don't want to go into philosophical arguments, but I am reliably informed that hell means "(being) without God" so, by definition, the answer to your question is "no, that's not possible". (If only yours had actually been a question... ) Origin of the word hell. [Middle English helle, from Old English.]WORD HISTORY Hell comes to us directly from Old English hel. Because the Roman Church prevailed in England from an early date, the Romanâ€â€that is, Mediterraneanâ€â€belief that hell was hot prevailed there too; in Old English hel is a black and fiery place of eternal torment for the damned. But because the Vikings were converted to Christianity centuries after the Anglo-Saxons, the Old Norse hel, from the same source as Old English hel, retained its earlier pagan senses as both a place and a person. As a place, hel is the abode of oathbreakers, other evil persons, and those unlucky enough not to have died in battle. It contrasts sharply with Valhalla, the hall of slain heroes. Unlike the Mediterranean hell, the Old Norse hel is very cold. Hel is also the name of the goddess or giantess who presides in hel, the half blue-black, half white daughter of Loki and the giantess Angrbotha. The Indo-European root behind these Germanic words is *kel–, “to cover, conceal†(so hell is the “concealed placeâ€Â); it also gives us hall, hole, hollow, and helmet.

Daniel Posted 14 October 2005 Author Posted 14 October 2005 There seems a biggest crowd around him. Wonder what was the background significance.? Maybe they all want to kill Jesus on his return?
Northants Fox Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 This man will be surrounded by a burning ring of fire. He's going DOWN
Katy Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 The people in the background look blissfully unaware of whats going on actually dont they?
Thracian Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 Have just looked into the Undo.Jesus website (referred to on the placard) and it basically is an organisation dedicated to refuting the claim that Jesus is the Son of God and the Biblical teachings that follow on from there. At first view it is not categorically opposing the notion of "God" (at least I don't think so) but be your own judge.
Katy Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 I think hes bluffing, hes spelt Jesus (in the web address) with a capital 'J' which show a tiny bit of respect does it not? Hmmmm
