useless , inept, and embarising

The living legend himself Mourinho is 16 points behind Man City despite him benefitting from a bloated squad of hand picked big wage guzzlers, a stadium capacity / income that's double ours and a huge merchandise and licensing income worldwide, surely he's to be sacked in the morning then?

Maybe Puel was trying to be too clever, trying to pose Pep a new question to answer or maybe he wanted us to get up the pitch more in the second half but when someone puts a perfect ball in between your keeper and an onside forward it's a great bit of play and should be recognised as such. Whenever Albrighton puts a cross on a plate for Vardy or Slimani no-ones just puts the goal down to the opposition full back being shit. I would have been very happy with a point but obviously Puel felt we were absorbing too much pressure and would eventually cave in anyway. The half time change was strange, unexpected and failed but 5-1 away to the champions is not unforgivable. They will p*** on better sides than us this season.

Whats embarrasing is Puel being questionned over every single defeat and decision that doesnt come off. Even if its against arguably the most in form team in the world.

Im sure telling kasper to clown around wasnt a cunning plan

City are walking away with the title, and they are superior to any other team in the premier league. Whilst yesterday was frustrating and painful to watch, that is exactly what good teams do if you make simple errors. They’re perfect at the basics of football and any opposition show any sign of weakness they will punish you. Yesterday was a harsh reminder of how much we have regressed, and how average some of our squad is.

If we we want to genuinely push for a European place and put pressure on the top six, then we need to spend money on the right players.

In the summer we need to allow Puel to identify whom and what he needs to implement his style, and give him time to do so. No more of this silly attempt to unearth gems in bang average players like Slimani. We need to stay looking at the players that people are talking about. Big summer ahead for this club.
