Passing Stats last 3 home games

A bit of a geeky post i'm afraid.

 

After looking at facebook pages and seeing the discussions on here i was interested in seeing what our actual pass stats were like.

I know stats can be looked at different ways.  This is just passing.  Showing passes that were accurate as well as lost passes and the % that were accurate.

Analysing them over the past 3 home games

Basically Vardy doesn't pass much and has a terrible passing accuracy, kasper is the worst passer by far.

big fan of the way we pass to the opposition.

Probably needs to split between short and long pass

take ndidi having the highest % but are they all sideways / backwards passes? vs schmeical attempting 50/60 yard pings to the wing?

This can be read in many ways so not sure what the conclusion is on the data

In all fairness, players like N'didi and defenders, whose role isn't to create will have a high pass accuracy because they're only passing simple balls.

The conclusion is that i need to get out more.

 

Vardy has bad accuracy but he really only has one way to pass.  Ndidi does pass more but he does give the ball away lots.

 

We are trying to be a passing team but we are not very good at it.

I think that's about the fairest and most concise assessment I've seen.

So after Swansea we've attempted fewer passes each game and fewer of them have been accurate or am I reading this incorrectly. If so goes hand in hand with the fact we are not developing at all at the moment.

Look at Drago's stats there. And the thing with him is you know a lot of his passes are offensive as well. Sigh.

Spot on.

 

Less passes but more going to the opposition.

 

Its not in depth analysis by any means.  Surely somebody at the club looks at all stats and gives this to the manager/coaches?
