Love a good football film, and picked up "Kenny" on Blu Ray this morning. Just watched it. Really, really good. Anyone seen it?

Covers his time growing up in Glasgow (as a Rangers fan), signing for Celtic, moving to Liverpool before the post Heysel to Hillsborough period and the aftermath of Hillsborough up to him stepping down as Liverpool manager.

Splendid stuff!

* you'll need the subtitles on though!

Reminded me of a classic football track by Adrian Sherwood/Barmy Army from the late 80s..... "Dalglish, sharp as a needle!"

Liverpool haters will hate it, but a candidate for best ever football song in my book.

Let's have Sherwood's song about Billy Bonds of West Ham, while we're at it!

We need to commission Sherwood to produce an LCFC song!! :D

Yeah, I've got it on DVD. Great documentary. Great player and not a bad manager either.

I didn't know he was a Rangers fan before watching it lol

I couldn't believe the Sun told him they couldn't apologize though. Scum.

Different note but I like Kelly Dalglish, I think she's a great presenter.

He was some player. Such vision and touch. You wonder sometimes about great players of years gone by and how they'd adapt to the modern game. I think Kenny would be one of the world's best if he played today.

With so many of our “returning fans” since 2013/14 really Liverpool fans I expected this thread to be busier

Back in the day it wasn't considered treason to like other English league teams and to watch them and admire their skills whilst still supporting your chosen team and without being labelled a plastic or so..me other silly derogatory label. Fans were even known to clap the opposition when they did something spectacular like Juventus did against RM without it making headline news.

PS I recognise you're being tongue in cheek, hopefully.

It’s sort of tongue and cheek and it’s not pop into any Leicester pub when the scousers are playing you will find if full of people who were begging for tickets in 2016 , now back wearing red.

So many aged 30-50 from this greys city seem to have had a great love for Liverpool , I find it strange.

I stood and apluadied Berkamp when he scored his wonder goal against us , also many did when Beckham popped a screamer against us from a free kick in last minute,  it was an away game and the tension in their home end was huge but it exploded with that goal and it was amazing to be there to witness and feel that energy

Agree on this, she always seems pretty comfortable ripping the piss out of Redknapp and co as well which is a nice change to the sickly sweet pally way they all get on with the male presenters lol
