Oh dear.  A nice pleasant thread about dogs and frequented by dog lovers has been derailed.  Saying the only good dog is a dead dog is not an unpopular opinion it’s an offensive remark ...   designed to piss people of and probably upset some people.  Col’s remark isn’t an unpopular opinion either ..   it’s a reaction.  And where racism and sexism comes into it I’ve no idea.  It doesn’t bother me one way or the other ...  but can we just keep this to dogs, even some strange peoples opinions of them, and not get bogged down with other crap.

Exactly that,I personally couldn’t give a shite what he thought.Dont want him banned either.

if I don’t have an interest on a particular thread I don’t go on it.

one sole intention, and  that was to offend.Which says more about them than anything else .

Draw a line and move on.

learnt a lesson years ago when I put a picture of my new gun on here, got dogs abuse( intended) one from some Charlton fan Tincy who was the biggest twat ever and a lazy ungrateful one at that and wished i died.

Thing is I’m a country lad too and probably know more about nature, birds and preservation than most, but me shooting rats was a problem.

Right back to the dogs !!!!

Such brilliant creatures though

Loyal blue heeler stays with three-year-old lost in bush overnight

The girl was found 2km away from her house but was still on her property. Thats some big garden. Kudos to the dog, 17 yrs old (over a 100 in dog years) deaf and partially blind but still stood by her owner.
