True, we in England are obsessed with 6ft+ midfielders, whereas in Spain they put far more emphasis on technical ability. I really want Alves to do well, more so then anything, because of the heinous tackle and subsequent injuries he's suffered. Hopefully this is his season.

Nelson has been pretty terrible but I still think he can come good with a solid pro like Souttar next to him. Always seems very nervous, not sure why, but Okoli next to him may be the cause. The hope is he stays, plays well beside Souttar, we get promoted and he signs an extension.

Maybe it goes back to last year when Tuchel called Jude's behaviour repulsive , but there's definitely an ego clash going on between the two. Tuchel knew it, that's why he started playing Roger's as a 10, before the WC. Now Jude knows he's undroppable, he's dismissed Tuchel's views as "whatever" and doubled down on it later by saying he (Tuchel) doesn't know how it is to play in those conditions.

Vesty gone, Ayew gone, Daka gone and now Winks gone. All we need now is for Faes to f*ck off and make this an outstanding window.

Referee looks like Robocop

If we sell Skipp for 15M and get rid of Winks, this will go down as one of our all time best transfer windows 🤞

I'm not talking about his management but more the transfers and specifically the Suarez deal. It was an answer to why Arsenal dont pay the required amount for Monga instead of arguing over a few million. Under Arsene they were always like that, to the detriment of the team. That's why so many Arsenal fans were happy to see the back of him, even after all his success.
-
Arsenal were a bunch of jokers under Wenger. This is the club that offered Liverpool £40M+ £1 for Suarez. Trying to be clever, they fuched that deal up and Suarez went on to score 31PL goals in 33 games. They've seemed to have learnt their lesson with the money they've spent under Arteta (1billion). Our biggest problem is Rudkin, he's going to bend over for Arsenal.
-
Regardless of what he's saying, Russell's been around long enough for us to know that we're going to get, a team which values possession over everything else, even scoring/defending goals. It's going to be backwards, sideways passing for 99% of each game. We've got to accept that until the inevitable happens, and he's sacked or leaves.

Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager
sm1 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
100% he was lied to aswell as Enzo (no signings in Jan) and even Ruud (Woyo as our only signing). We forget that Rudkin and Top, on top of all their other faults, are 2 very dishonest people, who've been lying and winging it for years. -
Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager

He'll get on pretty well with the Thai monks. -
In hindsight, beating Southampton 9-0 has been the worst thing that could've happened to us. Since then we've just decided to bring all their rubbish here.
-
Thanks for confirming what alot of us know, Russell is a useless twat. The problem is, we have an owner and his sidekick, who are even more clueless.
-
Skipp, for all the criticism regarding his transfer fee, is a pretty good character and gives his all. I think striker is the issue.
-
He'll keep the barbers on Narborough Rd busy.

Akinbiyi and Daka both played 2 seasons in the PL for us. Daka 353 mins per goal Akinbiyi 422 mins per goal So Daka significantly better and if you include cup games, he'd have an even better record.

Didn't know Klopp was a longtime City supporter. 😁

Martin is just the symptom, the actual disease is Top. We're the club that did the impossible, winning the PL playing fast, counter attacking football. And Top talks about us going back to our "identity", playing slow, possession football. He's completely deluded, turning whatever he touches to shit.
-
Not often you see us getting knocked back in the tackle, but Exeter did it over and over again. Ref let them get away with alot of pens around their try line as well. Overall a shit day.
-
Have these kvnts given us any compo for Trey Nyoni yet.
-
It's a win win for Arsenal. If they'd won the CL, great, but I think most of their fans wanted the PL. Next season should be interesting. Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea with new managers and Spurs and Utd should be stronger. On top of that, with the WC being in a few days, some of those Arsenal players will be close to burn out come the new season.
-
I've had a dislike of Arsenal ever since they beat us 2-1 in 2016 and acted like they'd won the title, taking selfies in their changing room. Glad they got beat and in the worse possible way, a pen shoot out. Someone should ask Arteta if he's still on fire 😂
-
Are those free agents Tony Pulis and Alan Pardew
-
We'll need one of our first choice 10s, if we're going to beat Saints and Bath for the title. Injuries have hit us at the wrong time.
-
You know Top and Turdkin are so deluded, they think they've got a chance with Pep.
