cisono Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 My answer is... I hope they are giving this scheme some weeks (or months) before evaluating it? I am working on Tuesday night and there is no way I could make it to the match, even if it were free!!! (well, short of throwing a sickie, but of course we know we are all too conscientious to do that)
davieG Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 In more ways than onehttp://www.foxestrust.com/html/modules.php...article&sid=541 Views? I wouldn't call it the acid test as that implies it covers all options and there is no way you could compare the results of this game, Burnley on a Tuesday night @ £15 with the choice of 2 English teams to watch in the Champions League either at home or down the local to Sheffield Utd on a Saturday @ £15. If it is not successful by yours/the clubs standard maybe it implies that when people were saying it should be £15 they meant as a maximum, against the best/more attractive opposition not against a team that in all likelyhood is going to bore them to death, these are not die-hard supporters you're trying to attract they are casuals or 'lost' supporters. So a test but not the acid test.
Cat Burger Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 How much is it for young adult non members? as I'm at uni I will only go to a couple more games this year I expect, I don't want to shell £10 out on something that isn't worth it for me personally. If all tickets become in the region about £12 for me I'll be happy
Manwell Pablo Posted 18 October 2005 Posted 18 October 2005 LCFC website says Young Adults from £8 so thats how much i intend to pay
Ric Flair Posted 18 October 2005 Posted 18 October 2005 It's a good question really, the problem is there are alot of fans who still think we are crap and aren't worth watching. If we string a few more wins together then the 50p millionaire's will come rolling back in their droves. People will always moan about something or other whether it's ticket prices or the smell of their piss whjen they are having a slash in the pisshouse at the ground. Having said that the tickets prices are quite expensive if your not a season ticket holder, etc and it's nice to see them reduced at times but the fans who moan need to back this up by appreciating it when the club reduce them and attend the matches!

There's something wrong here, as I'm finding myself agreeing with Ric again!
Ric Flair Posted 18 October 2005 Posted 18 October 2005 There's something wrong here, as I'm finding myself agreeing with Ric again! That's what 3 points can do to ya. Imagine if we win again tonight, I think you'll be giving me on-line high five's and stuff
lush Posted 18 October 2005 Posted 18 October 2005 There's something wrong here, as I'm finding myself agreeing with Ric again! More of the same hey Lisa. Ric, are you a comedian "then the 50p millionaire's will come rolling back in their droves" "People will always moan about something or other whether it's ticket prices or the smell of their piss" Im easily amused After saturday, a good point v derby, no home game for THREE weeks, you`d think folk have a sparkle for football and have enough pounds. Pricing, ive said it before, and im saying it now, as long as its fair for everyone, it doesnt matter what the price is (without being ridiculous), if the team plays attractive attacking football. £15 for everyone, and every seat. Amazing how donkeys years ago money was hardly disgused, then football clubs smelt big bucks, then fans wondered about the clubs finances, now we discuss how much we need to pay, and its usually more than we`d like, and we agree with it Lets get back to football people.
Bluefoxtim Posted 18 October 2005 Posted 18 October 2005 If leicester did 100% free tickets for 1 game, do you think they would get a full house? May sound stupid, but im not sure....

Agreed. I for one have said the prices are too high at the WS, but I was happy with the pricing tonight and went to the game to show my support.
