He was mentioned in relation to Puel's post - by the media - and Arsenal's and now he is the top candidate for the Bordeaux job. He's even listed above Laurent Blanc and others like Remi Garde. He may turn out to be a good manager but he needs to learn the trade and get real head coach experience. Any team that chooses him over Laurent Blanc deserves relegation. I doubt these calibre of clubs are seriously considering him as he's quite the gamble atm And some people wanted him at Leicester to replace Puel. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/46995436 Monaco have suspended manager Thierry Henry while they make a decision on his future. There had been speculation that the Ligue 1 strugglers were set to sack the France World Cup winner and replace him with predecessor Leonardo Jardim. The 2017 French champions are in the relegation zone after five wins in 20 games under Henry, hired in October. Franck Passi, appointed as Henry's assistant on 20 December, will take training on Friday, the club said. Passi has previously had spells as caretaker manager of Marseille and Lille. Henry had apologised for using foul language to insult Strasbourg defender Kenny Lala during his side's 5-1 defeat on Saturday. Arsenal's all-time leading scorer is in his first managerial role, having previously been Belgium assistant boss. He had been on the shortlist for the Aston Villa's manager's job in October before taking the job at the club where he started his playing career.

Are you going to move onto sol Campbell now you giant racist
MC Prussian Posted 25 January 2019 Posted 25 January 2019 No previous managerial experience at top level, bound to fail. Especially at Monaco, with all the recent turmoil surrounding the club. They wanted a big name, they got one. Hope they can rebound from this crisis, and that Henry finds a job in a lower league that acts as a proper kickstarter to his managerial career.
