Give them all a good reception. Totally agree, I'd actually be a bit annoyed if any weren't to get a good reception. Nalis, whilst not being the greatest footballer, was liked my many fans. Scowcroft had some great times with us in his first few seasons. Sure he faded last season but he was a main reason why we got promoted 3 seasons ago. People just like to remember him for his bad last season which I find sad to see. As people often say you should support a player when he's at your club no matter how bad he is playing. Heath was a homegrown player and although he was prone to mistakes he tried his all and scored some good goals for us. And Impey was with us in the MON years. He quite often played very successfully as right wing back in a 5 man midfield with Lennon, Guppy, Savage and Izzet, in what was one of our most successful midfield partnerships that I remember. I sincerely hope they get a good, well deserved reception for the good times that they spent playing football at Leicester City

I'll save my applause fro true legends and my vitriol for Denis Wise. Nobody stands up and claps me if I ever go back to an old work place, why do footballers warrant it for being no more than average.

Benji Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 i'll clap when they come out and get announced but ill prob boo when they are playing it's all part of football, don't reckon they care they get paid enough money. They are not playing for leicester anymore, i'm not going to support what they do.

Shipman Out Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 Players who earned a good reception should get one, not run of the mill, Heath only played few games just cos he came though the academy doesnt mean we owe him anything.. recent players i would clap are izzet,lennon,heskey,savage,claridge ect.
