Nutty Shinton Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 OK folks I'm going to hold my hand up, FNQ has been right all along. We were wrong to hoof Adams out and now we are paying the price for it. I welcomed Levein's appointment, it made a change from getting another washed out recylced has-been. But it has been obvious since the turn of the year that he can't hack it as a manager. Come Sunday he will have had virtually a full season in charge and that's a lot these days. Levein's only signing that has really proved himself has been Hughes. While Smith looks very promising I think that it's a bit much to expect him to be Levein's get out of jail card. Levein can't and won't motivate. The team tends to fall away in the second half. Perhaps the hair dryer is on cool mode. So I hate to say this but I will be roaring on the Covscum on Sunday and will be giving Micky a big hand. A 0-3 reverse should be enough to prompt the vote of confidence and put Levein and us long suffering supporters out of our misery. Before some of you get precious about my treachery I will remind you that several fans on this board roared the opposition on to get Taylor and Adams out. So who's up for a bit of Levein 'Outing' on Sunday?

Do we have any money to give him? How long do we give him? 1 year? After 1 year do we sack him and get someone else? Who would replace him? How much money would you give him? Do we have any money to give him? How long do we give him? 1 year? After 1 year do we sack him and get someone else? Who would replace him? Ho..... You get the point!

I wouldn't cheer Coventry even if Leicester turned up with seven geriatrics and a spongeman (shit, that's tempting providence Wouldn't you be great to have around on an exploratory trip to the Arctic? First sign of cold, first husky that fell sick, first time we had to cross a crevice and you'd be off. Now I know what Jesus must have felt like... Anyone got a buyer for a guy who want to sell his soul...
wirralsimon Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 I assume you have (re) joined as a wind-up as this is your only posting, you are either a list member under another ID or a Coventry fan, so I will treat your suggestion with the contempt it deserves!

Nutty Shinton Posted 21 October 2005 Author Posted 21 October 2005 Come on you lot, where does all this give him more time we don't need this at this time shit come from? We called for Adams head just four games after we were relegated AND HE GOT US PROMOTED AT THE FIRST ATTEMPT. Under Levein we were flirting with relegation for half of last season when we were supposed to be marching into the play-offs. Now after nearly a year with Levein in charge wer'e in a full blown relegation battle with HIS PLAYERS (that he refuses to motivate) not Adams geriatrics. If that the worst case of double standards I've ever come across I don't know what is.

If that the worst case of double standards I've ever come across I don't know what is. Yes but Adams had been at the club for sometime, Levein isn't even halfway through his contract yet. Thing had got a little stagnant with Adams, we needed a change, it was the right time. Now is not the right time to be asking for CL's head
Nutty Shinton Posted 21 October 2005 Author Posted 21 October 2005 But we could actually be going somewhere with CL. Unlike with Adams's dad's army. Oh yes my friend we COULD indeed be going somewhere with Levein. It's called the first division. And that would be some achievement because that would be LCFC out of the top two divisions for the first time in its 121 year history. I really wouldn't want to be in Levein's shoes if that happened. And I certainly wouldn't like to be known as somebody who publicly backed him to do this. That's why I'm backing out now. And if you had any sense (and real loyalty to the club) you would do the same. If we went down would you own up to keeping the worst EVER manager in our history in his job?

Relegation to division three instead of us didn't do WBA any harm! Look where they are now

Hitesh Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 What a load of bollox! the only point i agree about is when you say "Levein can't and won't motivate". But your not looking deeper! Levein is building the foundations for a good squad, and i know its frustrating that its taking ages but its what the club needs. We need to sacrifice these years in return for a stable and hopefully a more succesful future. The method is risky and could backfire, with the worst possible scenrio being we get relegated but tbh, there are worse teams in this league for us to be relegated And what the club needs is the fans total backing. Ok, we get a bit annoyed and have the right to because some performances have been terrible but at the end of the day we need to look beyond this season and what the club dont need is the fans turning against the manager! Bringing someone new in will only cause more disruption! Look what happened last season, we didnt improve in the table much when CL was brought in, but what we did see was better performances!

So who's up for a bit of Levein 'Outing' on Sunday? I agree to be honest. We will achieve nothing with Levein cr@p isn't a strong enough word to describe how bad a manager he is. All this "give him time" crap I've had enough of. Everyone I know reckons he should go and browsers on this forum are in the minority believe me. Wake up people he is AWFUL. When he was Hearts manager they used to ship 4 or 5 goals to Gers and Celts regularly. Even John Robertson improved on Levein. Go now please Levein before u embarass my home nation(Scotland) anymore. He's another Jim Jeffries sadly.
NFFC Chris Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 Well wanting your own team to lose is a discrace, under no circumstances would I ever want to see Forest lose.Fair enough, you want your manager out,it's OK not having support for the manager if you've lost faith in him but at least get behind your team, and if you lose only boo the team and manager after the match!Your a discrace,a shame to football!
Head Honcho Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 Sod off Chandler. mmm surely its too late in the day for Chandler.
