If it’s only once or twice a season then what’s the problem,

its like saying ‘why should a builder get his materials cheaper than jo public’

He gets it cheaper cuz he’ll spend money every week,

so it’s right that they should have to pay a premium in my opinion

A builder is also going to make money himself off the back of getting materials at trade prices, so that comparison doesn't really work.

You do realise some people don't have the income to be able to take their kids to the odd game based on the current matchday prices, right? It doesn't affect you in the slightest if someone who doesn't go every week only pays the same, or slightly more, than you. You can afford a season ticket at the moment, as can I. Not everyone is that lucky, so who are we to say they should have to pay ridiculous prices because they're not as fortunate as us?

My elder son turned 12 just before Christmas and as a result is now classed as 'under 18' by the club meaning the cost of his ticket has gone from just over a tenner to £25-30. Speaking to fans of other clubs, I am not aware of any that charge so much for school kids. Have been thinking of writing to the club to ask them to reconsider this as it does seem really unfair. Surely, until kids are 16 at least, their tickets should cost no more than £10-15?

I've just looked at booking tickets for Fulham v Newcastle, the seats we had for the play off semi final were £19.50. For this match the same seats are £73 for adults, £73 Junior U18's. That is outrageous.

Everything I know about Tottenham Hotspur FC I learned at @weller54 ‘s knee.

Just like everything I know about east midlands urban life, is from the “Is the City of Leicester a Dump?” thread.
