Definitely, Benkovic and Evans next season with Soyuncu and Morgan as back-up looks good to me. A more difficult question would be if we were willing to sell Chilwell to keep Tielemans.

While I appreciate the good reports we have had about Benkovic lets put things into perspective. He has been playing in the top side in Scottish football with the opposition so poor it makes Forest look good. none of us has seen him play in the Prem so we just don't know if he will be good enough. He may be no better or worse than Soyuncu. If we do sell Maguire we will still need a top quality replacement who has been proven Premiership standard.

Boom.

Like I said - not going anywhere!

If a team comes in offering the right money he'll be gone. What's he going to say?

Babs, he'll say "I'd like to stay with Brendan and all my friends as whilst I may have supported Man U as a child, I'm a blue for life and the team spirit here is phenomenal now that massively divisive **** with shit tactics Puel has gone"

Phew, thank god.

It's sometimes good Babs to talk these things out from the heart, without the use of statistics and stark football realities that can preoccupy a man and sway him away from unconditional blind blue faith.
