Interesting that the county cricket ground then was just round the corner on Brazil St/Aylestone Rd. Didn't know that.

Think that is earlier than 74.

 

Based on the players (Willie Carlin?) and kit I would say 71/72 shortly after the arrival of Jimmy Broomfield.

The Double Decker was definitely better for fighting when it was just bench seats, rather than proper backed seats.

We've got this great shot of Filbert Street for you today, taken on 14th March 1994.
There was a great send-off for Jamie Vardy this past Sunday at The King Power - even though Leicester are relegated the fans were still having a good time! Onwards and upwards, back in the Premier League next season we think🤞
Did you ever go to a match at Filbert Street? What was the atmosphere like?
