foxtillidrop Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 One that sticks in my mind is Villa away in the 90s. 4-1 down and clawed it back to 4-4. 3 goals in the 13 minutes!!!
Sampson Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 Don't think it's been mentioned yet, but the 2009-10 playoff semi-final against Cardiff was pretty great at the time even if we ended up losing on penalties in the end.
CUJimmy Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 City v Liverpool in 1972 when they were right at the top of their game and went on to win the league. We were 2-0 after 20 mins - both Toshack set up by Keegan if I remember correctly. It looked like we were in for a proper pasting but a Keith Weller hat-trick turned the whole thing round. Probably the loudest I ever heard Filbert Street.

I went with my old man and his two Villa ST mates and sat with the Villa fans in the Doug Ellis stand for some reason I can't recall - probably because it was a freebie . Managed to keep quiet when we got it back to 4-2 but couldn't contain myself at 4-3. Got a few 'looks' from the Villa fans and was told to shut the fvck up. Then when we made it 4-4, I went mental and three Villa fans about five rows behind us made a beeline for me My dad and his mates had to stop them attacking me, stewards involved and everything. I managed to get out in one piece and we went for a curry in brum afterwards and sat on the table next to Mark Bosnich and his missus. All in all a bonkers evening!
