Chilwell

he is probably being asked to defend more and get forward less which would leave us open at the back plus not having a defensive minded backup in front of him we can't expect him to be bombing up and down for 90 minutes, and he had that knock.

Not really made many mistakes imo and has been pretty solid.

I've said before that I didn't think he and Barnes worked last season, he kept taking the ball into Barnes area of play.

Holding back a bit and I thought Barnes had more room to work in yesterday.

Think even the players know that running with the ball is one of Chilwells strongest assets. Soyuncu in the second half gestured him to run foward and got quite annoyed when he turned back and passed to Soyuncu, later in the half Soyuncu ended up running foward (not the last minute run, one earlier) to show Chilwell that it is possible. Looking at tunnel cam it seems just before the start of the second half in the tunnel a memeber of the coaching staff was gesturing Chilwell to run more and Rodgers had quite a long conversation with him. Makes me think his confidence with the ball may just be low rather then him being told to stay back.
