davieG Posted 29 August 2019 Posted 29 August 2019 England playing Belgium @ OHL Stadium. Currently 3 all with 2 mins to go. King Power getting some air time.
davieG Posted 29 August 2019 Author Posted 29 August 2019 Yes apparently some slick passing for the first 25 mins then went tits up. Can we use that phrasing for women’s football?
purpleronnie Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Nothings changed since the WC, still great going forward but dodgy at the back.

spacemunky Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Congrats to Toni Duggan on her first goal for Atleti today. 4-1 win at Sociedad.
Guest Cujek Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 I don't really want to start a gender war with this I am genuinely asking. When I go onto the BBC half of the headlines are about Women's football, which I sometimes click on cos I think wtf, there wasn't any football today was there? I then give women's football a click which increases there stats and they think I'm interested in it. I'm not, I don't know why they haven't got their own section, like F1 or rugby does, if I want to read about those sports I can click on them and read, not accidently click a story about Lewis Hamilton when I want to read about football.. I also have to keep looking at Phil Nevilles weasel face.
spacemunky Posted 5 March 2020 Posted 5 March 2020 SheBelieves Cup gets underway today. England play the US at 7PM(12AM for you lads).
spacemunky Posted 8 March 2020 Posted 8 March 2020 Ellen White with the lone goal today vs Japan. 1-0
davieG Posted 13 July 2020 Author Posted 13 July 2020 A total of 142 people have applied for the England head coach's job, with more than half meeting the criteria, says Baroness Campbell, the Football Association's head of women's football. Phil Neville will leave the role next summer, so his replacement will be in charge for Euro 2021 and may also lead Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics. After that, England are targeting World Cup success in 2023. "We've had an unbelievable response," said Baroness Campbell. "I'm not judging it against what we've had in the past, it's saying, 'who has got the ability to take us right to the top of Everest?' "We're at the final camp - how do we get to the top of that mountain? That's what my job is. To find that person for the players. They deserve the best and I want to get them the best if I can."
