Life is football, according to some. And in life, sometimes, things just don't go your way.

I'm sure we all have things to do today. Have the best day possible everyone.

Thanks HPF. You have a good day yourself!

That result is Villa's biggest achievement in decades, and it'll most likley remian that way....let em have it, we'll concentrate on getting champions league.

I wouldn’t even begrudge them winning it like Birmingham did ......... assuming they finish where Birmingham did ......

First leg was the one we fvcked up. Needed to be going Villa Park with an advantage. I was never as confident as others on here going into yesterday's game.

That said, another important game in which we didn't show for.

We did show, we just didn't finish, and were denied a penalty. It happens. Things could be so much worse.

We didn't have many clear cut chances though did we. Kelechi's goal and Evans' header were close but the other chances, including the penalty shout (pen for me), were shots from the edge of the area.

First leg Vardy got played in at least twice as I recall.

Things could have gone worse, agree, and I'm more disappointed with how we conceded.

in all honesty, i want us to win the FA Cup, as thats the one we havemt won.....plus i wouldnt have been able to make the league cup final:whistle:

dont get me wrong, its gutting to lose like we did, but i just hope it refocuses the team on the bigger picture and to step up

It may be a blessing in disguise, you never know. It might also be a very important lesson learnt for our young, slightly vulnerable team.

I was so depressed listening to the commentary on Channel 705 that I switched to Channel 2. BBC2 was screening a documentary about Bergen-Belsen. It was a reminder that we're extremely lucky to have the privilege of worrying about such unimportant things in life as football.
