It seems to me that when someone makes an outrageous statement, for example, saying Kasper is a terrible keeper, other people come on and address this by being in complete denial that there isn't any issue at all!

It's quite simple.

Kasper is a great keeper who has hit a bit of poor form which all the top players do at some point.

Except for one thing:

He NEVER commands his area at set pieces. It’s a chronic weakness; nothing to do with form.

It’s becoming more of an issue now because opposition managers are increasingly targeting and exploiting it. As you would if you wanted to beat us...

Anybody who slags off Kasper needs to take a long hard look in the mirror at themselves. Think about the games where he has won us points that we probably didnt deserve.

People who choose to take him apart clearly have unrealistic expectations.

lollollol

Take a chill pill dude. No player should be deemed beyond scrutiny.

Nothing wrong with folks criticizing the specific poor performance(s) of any player just as they would praise same player for good performances. Granted a certain level of hyperbole is often employed, but frankly that also works both ways.
