One for the oldies amongst us , it’s sad to see the passing of one of the best midfielders i have seen Colin Bell of Man City and England. The epitome of the complete midfielder ...RIP Colin

As I kid I trained with him on holiday back in the days when you would get ex footballers come and take training sessions. He was a lovely fellow. I did some headers with him managing about 14 in a rally which was purely down to him landing the ball on my head, I’ve got a photo somewhere that was in the following years holiday brochure of me doing these headers with him in my blue pin stripe Leicester kit. 
 

It wasn’t until after the session that my dad told me about who he was and what a good player he was. 
 

RIP Colin.

Fantastic player for when Man City were a real traditional football club with some great players. RIP

Yeah they wore that against us a couple years back. I think that's the one you're referring too.

 

Obviously Manchester derby is usually red v blue kits anyway so I wondered if they were just gonna wear 8 on the back of the current shirts or just wear an old shirt like you mention.
