No it wouldn’t. Stick a seat badge on a vw, and it’s a seat. The brand name, in anything, is where the value is.

....I take your point, but I would suspect when the business was initially purchased the name would have been part of it!!!

Just like Goodwill is part of buying existing businesses, the price for it would be incorporated in the fee.

I've read somewhere that a club needs annual permission from the local council to use the district name.
