David Hankey Posted 15 July 2021 Posted 15 July 2021 Like all newspaper/media reports the movement of players is pure conjecture until it happens.
fazzyfox Posted 15 July 2021 Posted 15 July 2021 (edited) You would think the arrival of Soumare would allow for the departure of Choudhury or Mendy. The arrival of Bertrand makes up for the loss of Fuchs and in a roundabout way could see less use of Albrighton as a wing back (by allowing Ricardo, Justin & Castagne to be available on the right). There were very few senior squad members who weren't utilised and required last season, now it's a case of raising the bar of our standards again and one or two might not be up to that. Also presume Jakupovic is going? Edited 15 July 2021 by fazzyfox Jakupovic 1

An Sionnach Posted 15 July 2021 Posted 15 July 2021 I have said it before but here goes again. None of our contracted players will go anywhere unless they get at least the same money as we are paying and probably a longer contract. Its more about that than the fee. 1

Even players like Praet and Perez will be hard to shift as we are paying them 70-80k a week, which will be more more than the highest earners at a lot of French, Spanish and Italian clubs for example. 2
