So I found out that I can only get one ticket per membership, but if I buy at the general admission date, does this mean its possible for me to get another ticket for someone else? Im from the US so its difficult for me to understand the ticket settings in England.

thank you!

thank you!

Not sure anyone understands how ticketing works at Leicester City.

So far this season we have come to realise that the club would rather empty seats than release it to general sale.

That said, if your wanting a second ticket, you'll probably need a second membership for the best chance.

It's completely backwards, and unfair, but that's how the clubs decided to do it although granted, very few Premier League games would make it to General sale anyway.

How have you come to this conclusion?

Isn't there a general sale date set for every single fixture, where anyone can buy a ticket?

Not at the minute, no.

season ticket holder friends after Fox Members. No word on general sales.

This.

Take Burnley for example, it reached Season Ticket Holder Guests  on Thursday 26th so you would expect it to be General Sale on Monday however there's absolutely no mention of that.

It will just sit dormant with hundreds of tickets spare like West Ham away did.

Could this be anything to do with the poor behaviour at Wembley, which was the last general sale? I could understand why the club doesn’t want to open the floodgates to those troglodytes.

The cynic in me says it's more to do with trying to push membership sales.

I personally don't think the membership is bad value, and for anyone who wants to try to get to a few games, it's worth it just for the peace of mind that you will have a good chance of getting tickets.

On the flip side, matches like West Ham and Burnley, that clearly aren't selling, I cant see any other reason that they don't go to general sale.

Depends if they’re trying to avoid the racist rabble embarrassing us away like they did at Wembley. Those morons seem to appear when general sale occurs - the “I ain’t payin’ moor van I aft tooo” gang.

Can’t blame them for trying to push Fox Memberships after a season behind closed doors though I guess

They on occasions have done this on previous seasons too

Agree with that to some extent. My son is only 6 and I took the gamble by getting him a Fox membership this season, fortunately it’s paid off and he’s loved being at the matches, but it could be a waste of money for others.

I’d be surprised if Burnley doesn’t go to general sale at some point in the coming weeks because we have M1 from the away stand available and it still has over 700 available seats. If that doesn’t go on general sale, then somebody at the club is definitely making the conscious decision to not open to general sale.

The lack of tickets going to general sale doesn't help create new fans. My sister lives in Yorkshire and my nephew is 5 years old. She wants to take him to a game soon, and was looking at Burnley. It's really not worth her getting a membership, and she doesn't even know if he'll enjoy being at a game yet. He plays but he's only really watched England a bit during the Euros, never been to a live game. So how are Leicester going to capture and keep new young fans like my nephew if the chance to go to games are limited even more than they normally would be for someone living a distance away from Leicester?

If we have an issue with racist and bad behaviour from fans when the tickets go on general sale, that's for the club to deal with in another way. Tickets will have a purchaser name on them, there are camera all over the place. It shouldn't be too hard to pick out the trouble makers and ban them or put restrictions on the purchaser of the tickets.

It's why a commitment to cheaper tickets is needed as part of the stadium expansion, otherwise what is the point (mentioned this in my consultation response). We're a club that like to think big, but thinking big should also mean ensuring the vast majority of people in your catchment area support you. Frankly, the club is completely losing sight of this at the moment at a time when it's never been more likely to attract children with an LE postcode as supporters.

I feel the idea that fear of racists and wrong'uns getting general sale tickets is also a red herring. Let's not kid ourselves that we don't have a significant minority of vocal bigots among season ticket holders...

It’s a strange one. We need to have the opportunity for casual fans or people who just fancy attending a game because they’re in the area to purchase a ticket if there are tickets available.

It does look like they are trying to push the membership.

If they don’t want undesirables at games they’re going to have to start looking deeper into our fan base than the casual support.

Norwich on Saturday, quite a sizeable take up of booing of taking the knee, Cantwell being called a faggot, an attempt at a chant about Delilah Smith being a slag, 50 something guys who could hardly stand then sneaking paper cups of warm beer from a bottle into the stands at half time.  It was like being back in the 80’s.

The sad thing is that they won’t realise just how pathetic they looked. They’ll genuinely believe the opposite. This type of person is one of the things I hate most about football.

I dont think the 'Hooligans' have anything to do with it.

Most of them would have come because its a day out at Wembley in a 'Cup Final'. I really can't see them splashing precious doll money on Burnley at home.

I think its the club pushing memberships, which, I completely understand and being a member I think its a good scheme. On the same note, you can only push them so far and buying a membership doesn't suit everyone.

Members get their chance, season ticket holder guests get their chance and then it should be straight to general sale. We really are isolating a lot of people from attending and it's massively unfortunate and counter productive for the progression of our fan base.

This is true. However if they sell too many memberships it’ll offer less opportunities to existing members. Am I right in thinking that this is the first season (as far as I can remember) where Fox memberships haven’t been capped?

I am not sure about the capping although its possibly the first season where a points bracket has been introduced? previously it was gold silver & bronze or something similar.

I’m sure there was a cut off date to buy Memberships in the past, but I could be mistaken

I’d rip their arms off for one of those. Costing £50-70 per game for me at the moment and I’m trying to get to every home game this season. Long road ahead.
