Print at home

Forgive me for what might be a daft question, but do you have to print the print at home tickets?

 

They come with barcodes which I would imagine are scanable from a phone, however I don't want to get to the turnstiles to find that isn't the case.

 

Anyone else tried it? I don't have a printer so I'll have to start asking around otherwise.

You have to slide the ticket into a scanner for it to read the barcode so would depend on how big / thick your phone is I guess. Can't say i've ever tried it but must admit I wouldn't risk it if I were you (unless someone confirms it works). If it doesn't then it would involve queueing at the ticket office to get it resolved and unless you're at the ground really early, you'll be in danger of missing kick off.

I’ve asked the club and they’ve said no. On Saturday, I was asked to show my tickets to the steward before I was allowed near the scanner. So it’s probably best to just print them.

 

If I’m honest, as much as it irritates me that I pay £1.50 for the privilege of printing my own tickets at my own expensive, I wouldn’t want to stick my iPhone in that bloody scanner. I hear that’s how Covid started 😂😂😂

They tell you to print it. I have never seen anyone use their phone.

Yes Please print it as there was no end of issues last night where I was because people was trying to use their phone, also when printed fold it following the directions before you get to the turnstiles as people was failing to do that as well

They did for the 3 game package, not sure about any other game as I’m a STH

So far it’s just been for the package this season

You have to push it right in to the back of the scanner as well.

I had print at home for Villareal, collect on the day for Wolves, and posted out to me for Burnley.

 

So you know, pretty consistent stuff.

I’ve had to print every single bugger this year… Villarreal, Wembley, Wolves, Man City, Burnley and Man U - all bloody print at home.

 

Going to have to buy a printer soon. Getting tired of scrounging to get them printed at my Mrs work. But you watch, as soon as I do they’ll start posting them out 😂

Just frustrates me that we pay £1.50 in booking fees (for two tickets) to print at home😂
