Getting desperate and angry

I know I've posted this in the Help thread but I need a reply.

 

Just updated my iPad to os 15.1 and when I open chrome I get all these mini windows along the bottom.

 

How do I get rid of them and how do I stop them.

Chrome on an IPad? I’m sure Apple will be upset to know that *mysteriously* you are having issues with it .

Are they opened sessions? 

As a guess it looks like you need to go into each tab and close them.

I've been doing that but every time I open chrome it adds them, there's 32 now.

I've tried Safari and I can't be doing with it.

Can't you go into them individually then and close them?

Yeah I've been doing that but as I said every time I open chrome it adds a new one, they weren't there until I updated the ipad. I started off with 23 there's now 34 and it's a pain deleting them.

I think I might have solved it by un-installing and then re-installing chrome

Hi DavieG,

I don’t use Chrome, I use Safari but to close open windows you click the 3 little dots at the top of the page in the centre of the screen, which then brings up any open windows, then you just swipe them up to close them.

In ios15 I see similar  mini windows when I open safari or email. Touching anywhere on the screen makes them go away.
