I didn't think this was ever the point 🤣🤣 like a retirement fund. It's merely to honour a player who has been at a club such a long time.

Wasn't the last testimonial the Steve Walsh one that got hijacked by Gazza, Chris Evans & co at Filbert Street?

I don't think testimonials are a thing now because so few players get to ten years with one club. We've been incredibly fortunate having Schmeichel, King and Vardy all hitting the landmark.
