Could I encourage you to eat your own shit?

If you're crap, you're crap. No matter what. I've been in situations where I've had to slate people for being crap. They didn't stop being crap. If I'd put an arm around them and said "you'll be fine, just try a bit harder, do more work on getting your role right and we'll see where we are in 3 months". They were still crap 3 months on.

Some took it on board and tried and succeeded. Many didn't because they could be bothered.

There's a saying that "you catch more bees than flies with honey" meaning, be sweet and nice and you'll get results. False

Well the alternative has been tried on multiple other threads and that has clearly worked. Then again, it seems you are saying that there is no way of improving them what ever is tried and so we may as well all just give up.

I agree with you about the negativity, particularly on the match day threads and it's very frustrating. I'm not one of those BTW. All I was trying to say is a poor player such as N'didi or Vestergaard or Bertrand for example can't be improved as they are just poor footballers.

Some players came here in good form that subsequently declined. I believe that's down to poor management rather than getting a slating on  FT.

I'll always be positive at the start of a game, if we're trying and not committing brain farts every few minutes I'll remain positive. Sadly by half time that positivity seems to have diminished in most home games this season. I'll then just be quieter for the second half, shout a few expletives mid way and give up by the 80th normally. It's upto the players to get the supporters on side. So often when chasing games they just give up with no meaningful attack to get spirits up, the old backwards sideways and that's it.

Lets hope I can remain positive for longer than 45 minutes for a change. I still think if we're down by the last game at home, we should not be cheering them at all and maybe let them know what we really think instead.

If they've some how pulled it off and avoided the drop, I'll be more than happy to congratulate them.

I completely agree with you on this. It is a shame what has happened to some of the players and hopefully they find their form again with us or elsewhere.

I've said this before and looks like I have to say it again.

In the great escape season away to Tottenham, Kane scored one off his arse, on way home I saw Marcin Wasilewski in the tube station he was lovely, I made a point of saying his aggression and passion was making a difference at least in the crowd, and to stick at it, (we were playing well that season under Pearson just very unkucky) and that I appreciat him.

Think we won 11 out of 13 after that. Not claiming all the credit, but there is definitely a lesson to be learnt for the negative nellys on here about finding the positives, and not being a cvnt for twitter/ft likes.
