Positivity For The Players.

We created some good chances, I’d say more than we’ve managed in a game for some time now. Take that forward with energy, if as he says we stop the big chances against us we have a great chance.

It’s a bit challenging for many on here who can’t bring themselves to be constructive but I think that’s what was being suggested rather than sarcastic comments.

 

No one thinks this is great or even remotely what we want but surely there was at least something in that second half. We will probably go down but it’s boring to hear relentless moaning with no point or purpose.

 

Any fool can moan but it takes some thought to say something constructive.

I believe Smith will help us get the results needed to turn our season around. 

I'm not sure why but i just get a good feeling about him as our manager. 

 

Today it was great to see him attempt to change things on the field when he realised we were having no luck.

I agree. Earlier subs to try and make a difference and he got a lot of players on to learn about them a little more. I think it was positive management.

The old adage of ‘you earn a high wage so human nature and emotions shouldn’t affect you’. Maybe they do give a **** but just don’t have the facial gestures you would like.

Not only that but he was also giving out instructions to Vardy early in the first half. 

 

It was always going to be a tough ask today to go to Man City and pick up any points but it was great to see us actually create some chances. 

On a couple of ocassions we got in behind but were narrowly offside.

that’s reflective in performances and results though, not only facial expressions.

5 straight home defeats.

it’s not all the managers fault, players have to take accountability also.

Today was an improvement, let’s hope we see more next week

Mate, seriously, I can’t. We were better last year but we are where we are. The only way to get out of this, from a fan point of view, is to support and encourage. If we all just slate them and expect the worst then we shouldn’t be surprised when it happens. Is it not better to just encourage them and help them, as best we can, to stay up?

I agree. The key thing to remember is that this was Man City. They are something else. This is not the bar to judge by, but I think we learnt as the match progressed.

To be fair any player that reads a fans forum or Facebook page or Twitter or even the comments on their own insta account is an idiot. Even when you're doing well there are enough twats out there ready to tear you down.

 

If you want to positively influence the players get down there cheer everyone on and sing your hearts out.
