When we sold Lineker, to Everton ffs, that was the end for me.

Blooming heck - wasn't that 1985?

My dad stopped going in 1967 when we sold The Doug and Banksy - He still goes on about it today and gives me a rendition of God Save Our Gracious Doug

Don’t know if it’s ADHD or what but I barely remember any facts and figures. I’m always astounded when people talk

about a certain goal that was scored in 1987. I have to really sit and think to remember who even scored last week. Doesn’t mean I feel it any less in the moment. But in terms of “gaps in my cv” it’s pretty much every season.

2004-2008 Was shocking time to be a foxes supporter, just constant bad news, poor ownership, no ambition, terrible managers, awful players... list goes on. The only positive thing you can say about relegation in 2008. It was a start of new beginning for the football club. From winning league one to reaching the european conference cup semi final was a rollercoaster. Since the conference up semi final it's been depressing. It's like winning the lottery spending and treating yourself on exciting gifts for you and family. Then to go to cash machine on a Monday to see your bank account empty!

For sure i lost interest between 2004-2008.   Was it Fryatt and Dickov era?  I can't remember.

Also 1998-1999 and 1999-2000 as i was a student living away from home, no internet back then.  5 channels on Tv.  We had decent seasons but i can't remember watching them much on MOD.   Couldn't pick up games on radio as i was living in north Oxfordshire.

Don't remember much either from 1990-1993.   Think i went to Filbert street once and Kitson was playing.   I was more into BMX and music, and muckin' about with school friends.

The 1994 World Cup rejuvenated my interest in football, as well as our play off win over Derby.  I was 15.

Those great matches was it 93 or 94 probably got dates wrong that amazing game with Arsenal Bergkamps skill infront of Matty Elliot then the head tennis in the Arsenal box to make it a 3-3 thriller what an atmosphere that was when that equaliser went in the ground shook with joyful fans !

Apart from the Cup wins over Spurs and Charlton our whole existence between 2004 and 2008 was about as beige and uninteresting as it's possible to be.

We’ve made up for it in basically every year since then! Last decade or so there hasn’t really been a boring season
