Jonbluefox9 Posted 4 December 2005 Posted 4 December 2005 Just wondering how easy it is to park there? I did read in the tickets section on the OS that you can buy £5 car park passes but I wondered if it would be easier just to find a street to park on or something? I don't really fancy paying as much as the Fox travel is for what I feel is a relatively short journey.

Craig Posted 4 December 2005 Posted 4 December 2005 atleast your lonesome journey isnt far, mine is from hudds!! Well, it's about 2 hours How far's stoke from Huddersfield?
Thracian Posted 4 December 2005 Posted 4 December 2005 well when anyone finds out where to park can you let me know, as i need somewhere quick and easy!!! anyone who has been before is it nice there?? my first trip there and was just wondering! I had a shop in Stoke until quite recently, did quite a lot of work there and my son still lives there. Parking is easy. One thing you can do is drive past the ground, take the sliproad left and bend round on yourself to go back over the main dual carriageway (as if heading for the now demolished old ground). About 200 yards past the d/c there's a traffic island with the Michelin factory on your left. Go right and there's loads of paid (industrial estate) or street parking. The ground is well out of town now so there's no great pressure on space.
holly Posted 4 December 2005 Posted 4 December 2005 Well, it's about 2 hours How far's stoke from Huddersfield? ummmm......... according to aa route planner about 2 hours
Head Honcho Posted 4 December 2005 Posted 4 December 2005 Well, it's about 2 hours How far's stoke from Huddersfield? Nah it's only 2 hours if you go on the Motorway, If you go up the A50 it'll take just over an hour, especially at that time of night.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 4 December 2005 Posted 4 December 2005 I maintaine a warehouse up there only a 2 minute walk from the brittania stadium and the security guard will let me in and park for free. I wouldn't imagine it that hard to park else the money grabbing git would open the car park and probably charge a fiver. i don't like stoke stadium it looks like our with the corners missing but the concourses etc are alot worse than ours. as you seen on t.v yesterday there fans are scumbags aswell.
john_lcfc Posted 4 December 2005 Posted 4 December 2005 i went a couple of seasons ago and it was sit/stand where you like. all the "lads" went to the top n it was quite a good atmosphere. beware rab douglas though there fans hate goalies ott police presence there but they've got a few roughens <_<
