Mickyblueeyes Posted 28 August 2024 Posted 28 August 2024 I don’t think he will get a bigger club in England and questionable whether he would in Spain or Italy. He did flop last time he was here and that could’ve been for any reason - he needs to rebuild his reputation in one of the top leagues.

Near identical stats really. Around a goal and an assist every 10 games. If Ayew is shit from a statistical standpoint, so is Bergwijn. But he'll cost about 3-4x as much. Maybe more. Appearance stats can be badly misleading. How many of those appearances were starting XI or even as sub more than 10 mins? 10 hours ago, FosseSpark said: We must know we are selling multiple players. Soumare being one at circa £10-£15m. Iversen or Ward for £5m. Cannon for £5m. By the time that's done our net spend will be tolerable for a promoted side ie £30 odd million. Ward and Iversen will be on frees in 2 years. It's already been proven that fees aren't an issue, it's the 50k a week they're on. Ward is on record saying he's staying here even if it costs his international place and Sheff Wed and Derby ran a mile at Iversen's wages too. As for Soumare, everyone can see what we see. If he was going he'd have gone last summer. Literally no-one wants him.
-sodapop Posted 28 August 2024 Posted 28 August 2024 If we are still after another winger, I can only assume the club views Ayew as an out and out striker
Thebluefox85 Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 Just saw him at Greggs next to east mids airport getting a breakfast roll before his medical told me Rudkin has sold him a dream he coulda’t refuse and a weekly wage he’s only ever dreamed of 1
Sly Posted 5 September 2024 Posted 5 September 2024 He’s signed for Al-Ittihad on a three year contract. May as well close this topic off @Finnegan!
