I swear Forest fans are less defensive of Forest's one-off season than you. 😂

Not really brother, they'll no doubt struggle with chasing the success they've had this season, but crying they've been lucky this season just makes you sound bitter.

You seem to be confusing observing the obvious with 'crying.'

Brother.

How have they been lucky then? Or is your defintion of luck just based around their style of play and being clinical

The fact that almost all of the usual contenders have either been outright shit or inconsistent?

At least they’re going to be on the telly next year. We’ll be fighting for a place in the sky with L1 and L2 teams as part of the EFL package….

Our club is dead.

But pretending that Forest haven't benefited from extraordinary good fortune this season, and the prior two, is just bizarre.

That's what everyone said about our title.

To be fair the same could be said of us in 2015/16 but we still did the job.

If there is a way in which Forest have been lucky, I would say it was them managing to stay up and avoid any serious consequences from breathing PSR by the bottom 3 being so terrible last season.

Similar to how Wolves are lucky they have stayed up this season due to the bottom 3 being even worse than last year.

But it's bullshit.

Spurs were quality for much of it. Kane got the Golden Boot, Dele Alli was in his pomp and they played some lovely stuff. They only fell off when it became clear we were winning the title. Arsenal tore us to shreds at our place and players like Ozil and Sanchez were outstanding.

And we still won the league by 10 points.

Forest have only had to contend with one consistently excellent side in Liverpool, with Arsenal decidedly shot shy and literally everyone else being terrible or inconsistent. Had any two or three of Newcastle, Villa, Chelsea, Tottenham or Man City played at their usual standards all season, they'd be clinging on to UECL hopes.

Leicester 2016 and Forest 2025 are absolutely miles apart.

See above.

And with their luck in getting promoted in the first place (two stonewall penalties being conveniently missed by a retiring referee), followed by playing every big side when they were out of form in their first season back and up against Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United last season, not even the most partisan Forest fan could fairly deny that they have led a very, very charmed life these past three years.

You're cherry picking here but the point is that they are where they are in the table and over the course of the season they deserve to be. They might not make the CL but they're having a great season.

I'm sorry for being factual.

Four of the big 6 are likely to finish with higher points totals than they did in 15/16, if everyone has been inconsistent this year the same has to be said of when we won the league.

Again, Spurs only fell off when they dropped points against West Brom. The smart money until that point would have been on it going it to the final day as they were just absurdly persistent. Arsenal too. Man United were past their peak, Man City had not yet reached theirs and Liverpool were shit, admittedly.

But, again, we won the league by 10 points. Not finishing third or fourth.

You are genuinely a parody of yourself at this point

Your hero worship of Forest is honestly surreal.

They're a UECL standard side benefiting from more established sides than them being in transition. It's not difficult to work out.

I'd love to see them not qualify for Europe at all, it's not worshipping them, just admitting they've got a style of play that suits them and they've had a decent season, it's not difficult to work out. You can't comprehend that you can dislike them and hope they mess up whilst also admitting they've been good.

Watching you run circles around yourself trying to justify how Forest are lucky but the title win wasn't, even though by your logic it should be classed as that, has been superb though.

Even though I have comprehensively debunked that theory? 😂

Have you? You've stated two sides were good in our season and two are good this season with them. You've been told about points totals so far etc and just ignored it. Shouting it's factual all the time doesn't make it true
