All depends on the transfer window. Over to you Rudders

Yep we all know, we're not really dependent on what is currently in the squad, its not good enough.  Our future is literally in the hands of who decides the purchases or market activity and who we buy!!!

We need 2 purchases of the level of:

Cambiasso, Kante, Fuchs, Wilf, Winks etc.

NOT Slimani, Bertrand, Ghezzal, Skipp, Edouard etc.

Plus 2 others pretty decent.

Been saying it for weeks. I can't see anything other than Saints, Ipswich & us being relegated. We & the other 2 are so poor defensively & don't create enough.

The gap between the teams promoted & those in The Prem is huge. Still.

Everyone here are saying how poor the bottom 5 teams are like it gives us any chance of survival.

Well,  besides Southampton we are the worst team in the league by mile.  The only reason we were able to stay above 17th place is pure luck. Tbh i believe that by the end of the season they will finish above us. We're that bad.

And it really doesn't matter who the manager is. BTW  i do believe the RVN is an improvement on Cooper, but unless there will some drastic in the club, I don't see us surviving this season, let alone coming back to the PL after we're relegated, i.e. firing Rudkin, new physio team, let RVN bring his own team of coaches, and of sign a few players,  preferably young talents rather old and experienced.

Cooper did well although people keep refusing to believe it, he overachieved for us.

As expected we will probably end up relegated now.

I feel like Ipswich are the ones most likely to stay up out of us 3 that came up, they too have quality issues, but they look like they attack with more purpose.  They also have closed the gap to us indicating better momentum.

Wolves will be fine, Palace will probably be also, Everton is the main one, and I feel they will get probably get at least mid 30 points.

So from us probably do need 7 wins and a few draws or 6 wins and a lot of draws.  End of season is always chance to up PPG against teams on the beach but this season seems like due to the improvement of the mid tier of the league, lots of teams at that point may still be battling for Europe.

Its a very tall order, I feel like the 7  wins route is more likely as 6 wins with loads of draws requires us to not lose more games, already a very tall order to even not lose 7 more games I think.

I keep using the example that teams are as crap, if not worse than last year, and Forest actually only needed 27 points to survive.

It'll be another low one this year I think... whether that means survival or not is another thing entirely, could well be that 18th place just has a very low points total again!

What's the standard you're holding the Prem to? Because you must think La Liga and Serie A are park football if you think the Prem is crap.
